A police officer from Canton struck a pedestrian while responding to a call for another pedestrian struck. According to Police Chief Ken Berkowitz, the officer was responding to the call of a pedestrian hit by a car in the Washington and Dedham streets area. According to the news, the officer had his lights and sirens on when he hit a pedestrian at the intersection of Pleasant and Washington streets.
